About the Event
A hands-on workshop on LaTeX was organized for the Seventh Semester students (2023–2027 Batch) of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. The session was conducted to equip students with the skills required to format and write their academic seminar reports and final-year project documentation using LaTeX, which has been made mandatory starting from this academic year.

- S7 A Batch: Conducted on 3rd September 2026 from 1:45 PM to 4:00 PM
- S7 B Batch: Conducted on 7th September 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM
Key Highlights of the Workshop
- Introduction to LaTeX: Fundamentals of document preparation systems compared to traditional word processors.
- Document Structuring: Creating title pages, abstract formatting, sectioning, table of contents, and page numbering setup.
- Mathematical & Technical Formatting: Adding mathematical symbols, complex equations, matrices, and algorithms.
- Tables & Figures: Inserting, scaling, and captioning images and creating customized tables.
- Referencing & Citation: Managing bibliographies using BibTeX to ensure proper academic citation practices.
- Project & Seminar Templates: Hands-on practice using the prescribed institutional report template for upcoming seminar and project submissions.
