The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully conducted its Third Board of Studies (BoS) Meeting on 14 July 2026 in the Board Room of St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Chengannur, in hybrid mode. The meeting brought together distinguished academic experts, industry representatives, university nominees, alumni, and faculty members to discuss key academic initiatives and curriculum enhancements. 

The meeting focused on reviewing and approving the Fifth and Sixth Semester B.Tech. CSE syllabi under the autonomous curriculum, evaluating curriculum revisions, considering course code and title modifications, reviewing the academic calendar, and discussing examination policies and academic quality enhancement measures.

The Board also reviewed the department's recent academic achievements, including faculty development initiatives, patent publications, student technical activities, internship and training programmes, and the academic performance of the autonomous batch. Constructive discussions and valuable recommendations from the Board members will further strengthen the department's commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous quality improvement.
